GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I been attending El Capitan High School since my freshman year. It has been an amazing experience. The teachers do an amazing job at their job and they're always welcome to connect you in case you need help. The school offers many clubs were students can socialize and feel connected. I am a senior now and I had an incredible experience thanks to the students and teachers that attend the school.

Its a pretty generic school. The best parts are the teachers, a lot of them genuinely love their jobs and when I went to neighboring high schools all the teachers did was complain about their jobs. I think since its a newer school a lot of the teachers aren't as old as other schools and have kids high school age or younger, so it makes it easier to connect with them. The worst part is probably the students and social life, its hard to hang out with friends outside of school because theres nowhere to go since its so far away from the city.
