I transferred into MHS from overseas and started my junior year. I don't feel as if my transcripts were interpreted correctly, which had an impact on my class placement. Teachers and staff are nice. School itself is showing its age.

I'm a student at Merrimack high school, going into my senior year I have faced difficulties primarily with the school board and some of their decisions. Otherwise I enjoy my time at Merrimack.

Merrimack is old. Nothing is up to date but they try their best. A lot of the teachers are horrible at checking their email and guidance does nothing to actually guide us. They just changed our schedules so now nobody is able to meet with their teachers to get help which has become increasingly problematic. Not only this but when we have given them suggestions they have said they were going to change things but have just ignored our requests.

I am a current student at MHS. Most of the students bully one another, and the teachers can't do anything about it. They suspend the kids, and the kids continue to bully when they're back. I have watched them grapple with hard teachers and content, and with some tough social situations, but that is what I expect from a public school. I would give it maybe an 7/10. School needs some updating, especially more AC units. The food is alright but could be better. All of my teachers have been aweomse. The principal is cool. The classes are fun. Overall glad I went to Merrimack.
