GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Sequoia Secondary School enrolled me into college courses since they did not have any honors programs such as AP or IB. Overall Sequoia is a good school, but lacks many conveniences such as, sports teams, honors classes, quality lunch with options, and funds in general. Since it is a poor school it can only provide so much and I think Sequoia is making the best of what they have.

My experience at sequoia has been very pleasant. The school isn't very big so almost everyone knows each other and because the school is so small, each student can get more help in class.

I had to pull my child out of this school. They hardly learn anything I was so shocked at how behind my child was. I enrolled him at a nearby school and they were already so much ahead. I had made a bad mistake as a parent to enroll my child here.

Great teachers, amazing athletics program, good kids, and a place of character. A wise decision. This school has provided the best of all worlds for ourchildren.

My son has attended Sequoia for past 3 years. I was hesitant initially to send him there, but that proved to be a wise decision. Parent involvement is increasing every year and the leadership is wonderful!! I would recommend this school to anyone - it's a great community.
