The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Miami Arts Studio has been amazing. I love how much each magnet at the school have so much to offer especially the band program. I was apart of this band program since 6th grade and it has taught me many things that shaped me into a confident individual. As well as the many accolades the band program and other magnets received is astonishing to me. I also feel like there are no better teachers than the ones at MAS. They showcase a lot of expertise in their subject and are very open to the students. As for college readiness, the school does an amazing job at preparing you for your future. They have a great college counselor and provide us with a lot of resources including scholarship opportunities. The school also present the students with college readiness very early on which I think is great. I enjoy the amount of diversity I see in this school as well as the many clubs they have to offer. I don't want to see anything change, the school is great for what it is now.

I think that this is a school that genuinley cares about its students. The principal always has that kids best interests in mind. Some of the teachers can be a bit difficult to deal with, but you learn to deal with it.

Although it's a 6-12 school, I came in to MAS my freshman year. Now, I'm currently a junior. Being at this school has provided me with opportunities I never thought possible as a high school student. I've been able to travel to many different places with my magnet doing what I love, I've been challenged academically and learned about myself and who I want to to be in the process. I am thankful and grateful to be able to attend this school.

The school for middle school is good but when it comes to the High school the school is ok . There’s other magnet schools that are better for HS. Another thing when it comes to who gets it and who doesn’t get in, depend on a lottery but other times also depend on who knows who from that school and y...

To begin, when I joined this school in the 6th grade, I was a young child with hopes and dreams. But now, I have crippling self doubt that influences all my decisions on a daily basis. The only reason I'm giving this school two stars and not just one is because the student body is the only thing kee...

My child just started high school here and thus far everything has been impressive; my timid and shy child feels welcomed and supported; the environment, the admin and the teachers all in my and my child's opinion are top-notch. Every meeting and interaction has been positive and supportive. This sc...
