Alberta Smith Elementary opened its doors in September of 1994. The school is named for an esteemed educator, Alberta F. Smith, who taught in Chesterfield County schools for 44 years and held a role as principle for 36 of those years. This thoughtful recognition of a valued leader is indicative of the school’s deeply rooted dedication to their community.
