hi guys. it is me another year in the future. for those who dont know me i am a freshman in millburn middle school. guys. parents. everybody. DO NOT GO TO MILLBURN. YOU ARE BETTER OFF AT LIVINGSTON. im telling yall rn every single year gets worse. the workload is insane. it is impossible to get a decent amount of sleep, take rigorous classes, have a decent amount of ECs, and have any social life at the same time. pls pls pls don't put ur kids through millburn. ugys will think the middle school is bad, and it is, but the high school is even worse. its absolutely horrible. administration doesn't care and parents js yap and complain on a whatsapp group chat. its NOT sigma. oh yeah and if u make it to the high school js know that the food gets better but the middle school food is ABSOLUTLEY ATROCIOUS. too much focus on grading too, not actual knowledge. teachers just select random info from the unit and expect students to know. trust me don't risk it. GO TO ANOTHER SCHOOL.

Millburn middle is a great school academically, the social aspect is different. There is definitely A LOT of social pressures, you just need to find a good group of friends. Also take advantage of your teachers, most teachers are there to help you after school. 8th grade is very tough in every aspect, just work hard and you will be fine.

This was a good school with good teachers, but the staff that managed the lunch process were rude and yelled a lot. Overall, a good atmosphere and competitive classes.

This middle school is fairly average, earning a 3 out of 5 stars from me. There are some strong points, such as a handful of dedicated teachers who clearly care about their students and go the extra mile to make learning engaging. The school also offers a decent range of extracurricular activities,...

Our experience has been mostly positive on MMS. I see a lot of parents complaining about tests / homework below, but our child has never had any issue with those whatsoever - homework are typically done by 6pm, if not earlier; there are at most 1 test every other week, unless during the mid-term / f...

Don’t walk, RUN. 3+ tests a week, sometimes all in one day, non-stop busy work assignments, unreasonable expectations. And this review is coming from a type A parent! Super smart kids that are excited about learning in elementary school become stress filled by 7th grade. The teachers and administrat...

Our experience in the school was average-above average. Overall the kids are very smart and a lot of parents are super involved. That’s what results in strong testing and overall high academic achievement. Our impression is that the teachers just about average overall. There was hardly any one who sp...
