GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall my experiences within Miller Place High School are great. The teaching curriculum along with the amount of clubs and classes could improve. I've liked most of my teachers and most of the faculty are great. The School is a little too strict on certain areas and I believe they should really start talking to students seriously about college in their junior year. But overall I have loved this school.

Depending on who you are, the classes can be very easy/boring. Teachers themselves tend to be good and nice, but the school isn't the best

One thing I noticed about Miller Place High School is that it barely has diversity. This felt like a big thing to me since I am a person of color and I transferred to Miller Place High School from a district that was more diverse. However Miller Place High School does have an amazing staff that you can feel comfortable talking to when you feel like it. Afteraall this is just my experience not everyone will have same opinions as me.
