Located in the Walker’s Point neighborhood just south of downtown Milwaukee, Bruce-Guadalupe Schools are metropolitan charter schools run by the United Community Center through a partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The United Community Center is a social services organization on Milwaukee’s south side. The charter includes Bruce-Guadalupe Community School, which serves students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, and Bruce-Guadalupe Middle School, which serves students in sixth through eighth grades.
Bruce-Guadalupe Schools are proud to operate extensive academic programs with high expectations and high performance in a bicultural environment while embracing parental involvement on a day-to-day basis. The curriculum is specifically designed to help its students develop proficiency in the English language while maintaining their fluency in the Spanish language.
The schools are non-sectarian, nonprofit and community-based. Bruce-Guadalupe Schools are dedicated to creating a positive environment that fosters high expectations and excellence for all students, while cultivating and encouraging a strong sense of self and identity along the way.

A Lot of people always fighting and there always screaming.

Bruce Guadalupe is a great school. I've seen my child grow so much in the past few months since he's been in this school. The teachers and staff seem to not only want their students to grow academically but in all areas.

I don't reccomend this school. There is lots of fighting. Whether its in the hallways,bathrooms cafeteria, even in the middle of the classroom. The administration really haves no control over the children to the point where I once went to go drop off money to the school and there was a group of kids...

I LOVE this school! Both my children have attended since K3. The rigorous curriculum, amazing teachers, extracurricular activities, and resources available to my children are definitely preparing them for the best high schools and colleges.
