GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

LCHS does an amazing job for college and career development and readiness. I felt much more confident in my future through faculty and available resources that helped develop my skills and knowledge.

I have had a great experience. After having the majority of my middle school career during COVID-19 I was worried about my readiness, but the teachers and administrators understood the special needs of my class and helped navigate that challenge. The teachers have been very supportive and I have had a great experience.

Overall, the facilities are kept clean at all times. Teachers seem to genuinely care about students. The libraries are completely organized by subject which helps a ton. Good school with several CTE and DE classes, making it possible for one to graduate with an associate's degree.

I have attended Louisa County High School for 2 years now, and I have yet to feel like I belong here. The staff is rude and does not care about the students. There was one teacher in the whole school who I felt comfortable around. I was bullied and reported every case of harassment and threats and t...
