GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Gray Stone has been nothing short of amazing. I have been involved in 5 different sports and have made it my goal to excel in academics. I have loved almost all of my teachers and this school does a wonderful job at college prep and gives you every resource necessary for success. The food is very good compared to other schools and we have a good amount of freedom as upperclassmen. I am involved in a variety of clubs like NHS, minds matter, health club, etc. and there are so many more for students to engage in. We also host many fun events and opportunities for students to show school spirit and it brings everyone closer to their peers as well. I love this school and everything it has offered my, however if I could wish for one thing to change I would say I wish we had a football team because that is an experience I hate to miss out on and I know it would draw a lot more students to our school.

It's a great school. I don't love the current principle, but the teachers there are great, they enjoy teaching, the students understand that they are expected to behave well and work for their achievements and that doing so gives them some freedoms, and it's very clearly college-oriented.

This is a great school to go if you want to advance your knowledge and really be invested in school. This is a great school to go to to be fully ready for college. However, this school can be very stressful because you do have a lot of work to do. If AP and honors classes aren't your thing this school is not right for you because that is the main thing they pride themselves. This is a great school for those who really want to get a good education

The lesson during classes are pretty easy to follow. There are a couple teachers that I feel overcomplicate there lessons or don’t teach at all. The teachers are very judgmental as soon as you make a mistake you’re never getting back in their good grace. The middle school principal is amazing and ver...

Don't bother if your child has any special needs or is interested in instrumental music. The don't have any music program to speak of and don't really care if your child has trouble with the course load. Lots of mind-numbing homework the administration says "makes them get prepared for college" but...

I waited a year to complete this because I wanted to compare it to my child's new school. --- As stated, the student body is okay. The school is a group of students who are tired of riff raff in the traditional public schools with all of the discipline issues. They are not smarter. They are better b...

WHY DONT THEY HAVE FOOTBALL??? Overall this school is a very very mixed bag. Sports and after school events are uninteresting (I don’t think I’ve attended a single sports game in 3 years). Some teachers are great and help every student learn at their own pace. However some don’t care at all and take...
