The teachers have a hard time teaching and do not make learning easy while teaching some topics. I am in a dual class for ELA and the teacher who teaches that class is really good however, he makes learning fun and easy.

Sharyland has very wonderful teachers some tend to be a bit too lazy. The social Environment isn't great but I do think it has to do with who you let take part in your experiences. I think my experience at Sharyland High School has taught me a lot socially, emotionally, and academically. I love the Art teachers thereat the school they are nice, helpful, and caring. what I'd like to change is the counseling system they don't have freedom to help due to school rules they aren't allow to sympathize they can only tell us how we mess up in a certain way. The counselors are only allowed to tell us to just smile and don't let it bother us even if so they should at least that what we feel is a valid reasoning for those certain feeling. The reason we have counselors is to at least feel like we are heard and that we can feel we can trust them with how we feel about life situations or problems.

As a previous student of Sharyland HS I can tell you this place is a joke. Luckily for me I transferred from a district where the teachers actually taught and the students really learned. This school isn't what it use to be. The focus has shifted from education to sports with large funds spent on a few students and a whole lot of coaches. Discipline and student safety are not at the standards they use to be.

Like most schools today this school is ok if your kid fits in the box. If not you better home school or look for other options.
