What I like most about Elkins High School is the fine arts classes especially theatre out of all the other Fine Arts because in theatre everyone is really friendly to talk to and you feel like your part of a team. You can collaborate with them whether you are a Crew member and working backstage or a Cast member where you are acting in the play. Theatre in Elkins is the one class I have really enjoyed so far because I like collaborating with others and it has made me open up more especially because I am very introverted and shy. I would like to see a change in the way we learn in class and make it more engaging and at the same time interested to learn.

Overall. the experience in Elkins is wonderful. The people and students may not be the most diverse, everyone is connected as friends in some way. I would like the diversity to change tho.

I feel that Elkins High School is overall an okay school. For the most part it's the lack of resources to enable students education which disappoints (for example our school didn't have dissection as part of curriculum due to lack of the resources) and the couple questionable teachers.

I have 2 sons attending Elkins one of which attends the Engineering Academy and one who does not. This school is an excellent school if the student puts in their own efforts and parent involvement is active, there should be no issue with achieving academic success. Was a great High School in a fantastic neighborhood back in the 90’d and late 2000’s.That ship has sailed.
