The best part of North Newton is the small size. It's not overwhelming and you can get to class quickly. However the teachers are predators, alcoholics, or not educated enough on their subject. The administrators need to pick better educators for the children to give them the best chance at their future.

North Newton has a very difficult time holding on to teachers so learning is inconsistent between classes and age groups. North Newton has some good sports and a very good music department.

During my time at North Newton, I was involved in a few sports and clubs that made me feel like an active part of the community. I liked how North Newton was small enough to the point where it was a big family. The only change I would like to see is getting more students involved.

The school has very little advancement opportunities and the counselors don't seem to care. Last year AP Bio was canceled as a class(it's back this year) because counselors moved all the classes with advancement opportunities to the same 2 or 3 hour periods. This school is not very supportive to children that have problems. It's sad. I've seen smart talented children in that school suffer and grow hopeless there because they were not given the help or support they needed if they were different, or was having difficulty in their life.
