GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I want to see more involvement from both kids and parents, it's lacking and preparing them for when they leave high school

My daughter has attended Morristown High School since freshman year. This year being her last. Overall it has been a great experience! Faculty is great, lots of resources when needed. I myself graduated from MHS as well. We think MHS is a great school!!

I like the diversity. Especially for being near other towns that are known to be filled with more of a white community, we are proud here.

Great school. We love the diversity which is truly important in today’s world. Yes it’s a big school, but they truly have great teachers who really care. Yes when compared to other schools in the area, the school is very diverse. Other schools are 100% white and vanilla. One of the ironies is that M...

If you look we are actually above average for New Jersey. We are always ranked number 1 in the county for math, science, etc. In fact, we often beat out the...

I absolutely loved my time at MHS (class of 2015). I learned a lot and was able to take enough AP classes that I started college with 30 credits completed. This allowed me to skip introductory college courses in english, calculus, and biology, and I felt my education at MHS fully prepared me to jump...

From an academic standpoint just your average school in NJ, most kids go to Rutgers and a lot go to 2 year schools. The bullying is the real problem here, not enough individual attention for students.
