GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I had a great experience at Habersham Central High School. The best part of my experience was taking their early childhood classes, which is what I'm majoring in right now. I had the opportunity to go out and intern at an elementary school in my district. I also had some of my favorite teachers at HCHS. There were no worst parts of my experience, but something I would like to see change at this school is for there to be more diversity.

I graduated last year and now I am enrolled at Toccoa Falls. I had the best four years of high school playing baseball and football.

Fantastic school, i wouldnt be where i am today without this highschool. The teachers have gotten me this far with the knowledge that i needed to graduate and get into my dream colleges. The best part of my experience would be all the friendships that i have made, the accomplishments of graduating early with honors. My worst experience would be drama but it is everywhere. If i could change anything it would be students respect.

This school does not properly prepare any student for college in any way. Graduates struggle due to the teachers unwillingness to care and teach the students. Bullying in the school can't be solved properly when the school has several staff members who bully as well. One of the current "assistant pr...

If there was any way to rate this school lower, I would most definitely do it. I moved to Habersham Central High School for my Junior year. It was the worst year of my life. The faculty and students all give the impression that they aren't intelligent. The school Itself has obviously been poorly tak...
