GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers were all very kind and accepting towards people with disabilities or people who were a part of the lgbt community. The students however were not. The staff was very kind about issues, however they didn't make any of a difference when it came to protecting disabled or lgbt teens. They chalked it up to 'high schoolers being high schoolers' instead of recognizing it as a genuine problem. All I can say, as a trans and autistic person, moving out of this school system was the best decisions I made during my 12 years there.

I think that Mt.Sinai high school is a good school because of its teachers. They are really good and always push students to their full potential. They also d their best to engage students and are always willing to find ways to help a student succeed.

Small classes, great sports/teams, music and art programs are great. We are able to participate in AP and honors classes but also have strong academics for all levels of learning

Very disappointed in the school overall. Most unwelcoming school I ever seen. Teachers and coaches pick favorites. They allow bullying and when your child sticks up for himself he gets punished. Has no diversity here. Huge disappointment they do not welcome new children or new parents to the school...

If your child has no issues and is a quick learner this school is fine. I gave this school an average rating. I have 3 kids in the district, with one that graduated 2 years ago. The other two are in the middle school and high school. This is a safe clean school, however, if you have a child with any...
