My daughter applied to attend the Academy in the middle of Covid-19. It was a tough transition because of restrictions still in place in 2020. She had access to incredible instructors and college level maths and science classes. The school is much smaller than our local school so she had the opportunity to participate in more sports and activities. The residential component of the school also helped prepare her for college. Very happy with the experience as a parent.

Being a residential student for two years, I've had a good experience. The academics are very good, community is open minded and accepting. We have access to many Ball State resources such as dining halls, libraries, and athletic facilities. Overall, it is a good experience and a great school.

I absolutely enjoyed my junior year at the academy, the staff were great. When coming into this school you can tell that people actually care about you, and want what's best for you. My least favorite parts was being so far away from family, the lack of diversity, and that there was no homecoming.
