GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

i honestly see too much hate on the school. i don't find any of the teachers bad; i think they're really good and helpful and i'm grateful for some of them for helping me. there's really great people who work at the school

Blackman was overall a pretty good school. I dont have many complaints. There are some amazing teachers but there was also a lot of bad teachers. i would give the school a 3.5/4

Blackman High School is overall great. From the school culture with pep rallies and student involvement during homecoming events and games. Friends you meet along the way and opportunities the school offers to get ahead. The AP program has excellent teachers backing them up and certifications in pathway classes help you wonder around career opportunities.

This is the worst school! Bullying is a huge problem and they don't do anything about it. They sweep it under the rug so that it doesn't get out and they can continue to be a"great" school. Principal is just awful and is not fit for the job! They also do not really care about your child's education....

My son's experience was terrible! Upper classman males haze and sexually harass younger males and it is over looked. The school is way over crowded and bullying is also a problem!

This school used to be a good school but over crowding has led to over whelmed teachers which aren't able to teach. Bullying is out of hand there!
