This is the worst school to ever be in 8th grade. The homework is too much. (Math, Spelling, Khan Academy, Literary Analysis, Constitution, Presidents, etc.) and it's very stressful. We also do somewhat weekly essays and we need 2-3 pages at least, in a specific format. And no one smart can write that much. Plus we do community service and it's required to graduate, not optional. (30 hours at least). Recently, our history teacher (aka principal) said that if we don't get a 90% or above on our constitution and presidents test every Monday, he's gonna take away all our free time by rewriting the lists over and over again until we memorize it well. And it must be a new thing too. This is not the right place to go to for 8th grade. Never attend here.

Yes, my academic experience was good, except of the fact that teachers will ignore you if they don't find any interest in you. Good: Teachers are great and very caring of my two kids education. Advanced my boys at least a grade ahead of surrounding schools. Start your child early or they will struggle at the level they teach at. Bad:Classes are too large for one teacher so they separate the class and make some kids work on...
