GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Naples High School was an amazing experience. The teachers were fantastic, and I formed close bonds with many classmates. The staff made it feel like one big family. It wasn't just a school; it was a place where friendships flourished, and the sense of community made every day special.

Most of the teachers work and teach well; however, I have noticed many teachers at Naples High are very biased on certain topics and try to bring in their personal beliefs into a classroom. I have also struggled with quite a few teachers who taught just fine but were unable to help students one-on-one or teachers who refuse to help because it is "something you should already know." The poor rating is mainly focused on my peers and what some are able to get away with and what others aren't. I don't believe they is a single teacher at Naples High who doesn't have favorite students they often give extra attention to and allow then to "fly through" classes while doing little to no work. This is especially an issue with athletes being taught by their coaches. I have personally seen the football players, basketball players, baseball players, etc. get through entire classes without putting in any effort. They do this because the teachers let them.

Naples High is a decent public school. I would have to say it's a school that has more of an athletic culture than an academic one. If you are looking to meet new people and befriend them, clubs such as Student Government or Best Buddies are a great way to do that. The campus is very open. You'll often find that most of the students eat their lunch outside. Though it lacks in Academics, Naples High is full of spirited students and your time here is what you make of it.

We have 3 kids in or through the school. Its got a great open campus, a diverse student body and some of the best athletics in the county. There are plenty of course offerings for all student levels.

I have a senior & a freshman at Naples High. It has been a great experience. It’s a small public school and the administration, teachers, coaches all have the chance and take the opportunity to get to know their students. Communication is great, extra curricular activities and athletics are great, m...

I would rather a different school but we will tolerate it this year. In the future, my students will attend elsewhere if at all possible. Maybe we will even do online or home school.

Some of the teachers/administrators at this school single out students (students who, prior to NHS, were straight A students) due to their socio-economic class, or due to their refusal to be in gifted programs. Like clockwork, such children are unfairly penalized for lower offenses, and parents thre...
