Our daughter addended from 1st through 6th grades. We have been very happy with the involvement of the faculty and staff. She is very known by the faculty who care deeply for the students. They have an extensive learning services department that is headed by a fantastic teacher which comes as close as possible to individualized curriculum. Our daughter struggled in a few areas early on but was guided past these difficulties to now being well above the national indipendant schools norm. The environment is warm and caring. The school has a great reputation because the students leave well prepared and the graduate 6th graders often place at the schools of their choice including the more exclusive private schools in the area if that is of interest. We think it is the best elementary school in the area.

We went in with only a few acquintences and already have made what I know will be life-long friendships with other families. Our family feels at home at Oak Hill. We have had a fabulous experience at OHS. It is the exact combination of academics and nurturing that we were seeking for our children. The academics are sound, but the school has gone away from the loving and nurturing aspects that initially recruited us as a family. The school has also done nothing to address the diversity problem it has mainly due to most of the families bullying minorities out of the school.
