GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I've spent my entire life in the Huron School District, and overall, it has been a good experience. The three years I spent at Huron High School have been very memorable. I would say the best parts of my high school experience were the teachers and the friendships I've formed. I've met some amazing people, and I hope to stay connected with them after finishing my last year. The worst part of my experience has been feeling unprepared for college. I don't feel that truly prepared for college and what was of me to do on my own to get ready. I am the eldest and a first-generation college student in my family, so I couldn't seek help from them. In the future, I would love to see that change for my little brother.

Our school has a lot to offer when it comes to opportunities to form close relationships with staff members and students. However, I think it lacks the proper resources necessary to fully prepare us students as we head off to college. To improve, I think administration should consider introducing a wider variety of AP and advanced classes, as well as improving their communication of rules and guidelines with the students.

My experience was a pretty average high school experience. I liked how many AP classes Huron offered and I took as many as I could. Those classes and an SAT prep class both helped me a lot. They helped me get a good score on my SAT which let me enter a good college. Then the AP classes helped to prepare me for my college courses!

Look at the lawsuit against this school on the internet. I am not happy with how this situation was handled.

I just graduated from this school. Everything is good except the rude popular people and non-helpful teachers and administration.
