GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Great hands on experience and campus, small classes. Two children went through the program both went on to college.

At the Sound School it is very hands on from the moment you are a freshman along side a science class every year (for seniors it's optional). You row and sail for your tech course as a freshman. As a sophomore you 'work' within the shop on maintenance on all of the boats and equipment used at sound. Junior year you pick what kind of tech class you want so you can have an idea if you wanna do a science or tech class for your senior year. There are many after school activities like robotics, sailing, rowing, debate, fishing, tank maintenance.

I have been going to the sound school since my freshman year and it has been an enjoyably experience. its an extremely unique school based or aquaculture and agriculture. mostly depending on the water and the sound the school is still extremely safe. even if students man and drive boats.
