GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I absoulutely love my High school. The focus on integrity and kindness really helps. Its a place where you can have fun and learn. However, sometimes I do belive we are too sports oriented and not acidemicaly oriented. We do not have that much funding, and sometimes the will to learn can be affected by that. I would like to see New Plymouth High School be more open to different clubs and hire more teachers.

The only goal of this small school is to have either outstanding academics or outstanding sports and they deliver on neither. Unlike a major schools there is next to no funding for the classes who receive 100 dollars a year for 8 classes and extracurricular. The only bonus is the ability to talk to teachers after class.

The education is phenomenal but the people there are different than most people. They are almost all relatives.

My son was able to graduate with an associates degree along with his high school diploma. I have heard from several other parents that...

It is very biased when it comes to religion and school, seems if you are not Mormon or play sports then you don’t really matter at all. And teachers care more about what you wear then your education.

Good school, a little too much into football. Some teachers assign "make work" homework/assignments that have little bearing on actual class content. Need to modify "common core", Common core seems to be a simplified solution to math that's made far more complicated and convoluted than the original...
