GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The schools curriculum is fine. However, they lack when it comes to varieties of clubs and sports. The school isn't in a safe neighborhood and there's constantly shootings there so we have a lot of lockdowns. The students are very ignorant and incompetent. They show a lack of passion to learn and are very disrespectful to the teachers. The curriculum does not challenge the students and it is very easy to pass.

The revolving door with leadership has done nothing to improve the school. This year's test scores were among the lowest of not just charter schools, but all schools in NYC. The lack of consistency in curriculum, staff, teachers seriously concerns me, and I am looking to pull my child out as quickly...

They fired the teachers with experience and credentials and promoted assistants without certification. They are making up the curriculum as they go.
