At the Manhattan Business Academy, students receive a well-rounded academic program with an emphasis on business education. The high school serves children from grades nine through 12, with a current student body size of about 400. In addition to core academics, Manhattan Business Academy has a three-year business sequence track which includes computer applications, entrepreneurship and virtual enterprise which is a live business simulation. Students participate in project-based collaborative learning of 21st-century business skills and practices. Advanced Placement classes are also offered at this academy. While the Manhattan Business Academy may not be abundant in after-school clubs and activities, Chelsea has many interest-based clubs that can be found outside of a particular school. Meanwhile, students experience a thorough and interactive education that prepares them for higher learning and the world of business that awaits them. Students at the Manhattan Business Academy graduate learning skills in professionalism and collaboration for the college world and beyond.
