GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school has a great environment as it is small and intimate. The resources that students have access to for their performing arts classes are phenomenal and it is easy to create deep connections with your teachers. With that said, I wish there were more opportunities for AP classes and electives, as well as better kept facilities.

PPAS is an amazing school for anyone interested in pursuing the performing arts but for those interested in athletic and academic routes it is not the best fit.

My favorite part of ppas is that it was a performing arts high school so I was surrounded by people who are just like me. I was supported with my decisions and treated like an adult. I got the opportunity to perform for the mayor and be involved in countless musicals.I learned how to think for myself here and i have grown as a person.

We were proud when our child was accepted into PPAS and were hopeful for their artistic development going in. Early on, we were impressed by the performances and the conservatory training. Then things started to go downhill. The culture of this school is one of unchecked drama. Students create social...

This school does a very poor job of preparing your little snowflakes for life after Performing Arts High School.

Nice and refershing to some truth returning to the reviews of this school. My daughter graduated from this place and thanks to a separate cirriculum of learning online and a lot of the right connections, we were able to salvage the university process. The school in no way prepared her and, if anythi...

This school is horrendous and neither teaches academics nor arts at any elevated standard. It is sub par across the board. It is a school for kids who couldn’t get into better schools or a handful of kids who simply made the wrong/worst possible choice. RUN in the other direction if you wish for any...
