St. Bernard's is very academically rigorous, and you really have to work to make it through 8th grade. Most of the teachers are excellent. There are about 2 hours of homework per night by 8th grade, and teachers are always willing to help if you ask either during prep or by email.

From Kindergarten to 8th Grade (our son did not go to ninth, but I have heard it is terrific) St. Bernard's was just tops.
