One of my daughter's teacher was basically a bully. My daughter got a splinter in her foot (it later had to be surgically removed) and her teacher shoved (!!!) her shoe on her foot and told my daughter to stop being a baby! I didn't know about this until my daughter left the school or I would have done something about it.

The academics vary widely from classroom to classroom and teacher to teacher. There is very little support for students who are not academically gifted. The school only wants exceptional students and gets rid of the students who don't fit that model.

Students at RVCS are encouraged to follow their passions while making sure they are also covering the necessities. Students are developed as independent learners who learn skills that are the building blocks of their future. The community at RVCS is deeply engaged and supportive.
