Definitely enjoyable being in a small school. The teachers are fun, they care about your learning experience and are willing to help you succeed. There is a career coordinator.

I have been a student at Newport my entire life and it's quite boring and plain here. We're a rural school in Pennsylvania so there's not a lot of excitement in or around our school. There's little to no diversity here, which leads to a lot of racism around the school. Much of it with no genuine consequence. I did enjoy the teachers here they were all very kind. I would like to see a bigger change in diversity and overall behavior in the school, and proper consequences to people's actions.

The high school has been a great place to work. There are many supports here and I see students, staff, and the community working together on many issues. We have a wide range of offerings for a small school.
