I was miserable here. The school looks so glamorous from the outside. Nasty, toxic environment and an overall subpar education. Don't fall for it.

Teachers pick favorites sometimes but they grow to love you and respect who you are. The number of times I have stayed after class to talk about the book I am reading with my English teacher or what I did last weekend or just fun stuff that I would talk to my friends about is insane. - The students are so welcoming. I literally feel like I have a family with all of my classmates. I am not just saying that, it really is true!! The people here are just so incredibly nice and fun to hang out with! - Academically and artistically this is the best school you are going to get on the island. - Athletics for girls are really bad. - Athletics for boys are good. - I would not trade my experience at SMS for the world. - not great diversity - love the people here (including most teachers) more than anything - the opportunities such as Tech lab with multiple 3D printers and more is better than most high schools. - helped me get into one of the best schools in the country. - practically no clubs

Cost not worth the return. The other independent school option 10 minutes away is half the price with the same curriculum and extracurricular offerings.
