As a student at normal west highschool, I have had a pretty good experience they have a very good selection of available classes. They also have an amazing music program that I have been apart of through my years at west. I have also been apart of a total of 10 extra curricular activities they provide and if any student can't find a club that fits your interests you can easily create a new club with fellow students and the support of a teacher of your choosing.

West is a pretty good school. There are a decent amount of artsy classes and AP's that most smaller schools dont have.

I have had an overall positive experience at Normal West High School and the staff are all really supportive. Whenever I have had tough times the teachers all gone out of their way to help me with anything at any time. The only changes I fell that need to be made is how the school handles bullying. One of my friends gets bullied a lot and the problem hasn't been fully resolved. Otherwise mental health has been a very prominent in my school and taken seriously and I feel safe to come to the admins with any problems.

Normal Community West worked with us when we moved from out of state. The counselors are great and the entire teaching staff got to accommodate us and our kids and guide us through the difficult (during the pandemic) transition!
