GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

In the 3 years of being at Norwin Highschool, I've only attended in-person during my first year. Norwin has excellent staff and good academics. Norwin provides a decent number of opportunities to all students. However, the school is not a diverse place.

My experience at Norwin was an overall welcoming and pleasant experience. It has a very inclusive environment with many groups and activities to take part in. The academics are top notch, but challenging as they prepare one for college. The worst parts of my experience would be the subpar food and its cost served during lunch. One thing personally I would like to be changed is the costs for activities or really anything at the school, an example of this would be the $200 parking pass cost for the year.

This school is absolutely full of bullies that starts with the school board and trickles down to the administration then onto our students. This is one of the worst bullying schools I have seen.

I am currently in the choral program at Norwin. Strictly talking about the ***majority*** of the music department, I completely agree with the student who posted in July 2013. I only see 2 major flaws: the over-competitiveness mentioned by the student from July 2013, and the lack of a GOOD anti-bull...

NO GIFTED PROGRAM. Way to care about your best and brightest Norwin, shame on you! Put some more money into that stadium!

Norwin teachers do not treat the kids well at all. They are very strict and they are so competitive. They want to win but sometimes that is too much. Norwin does have a great music program but you have to be willing to put in the effort.

Outstanding theatre program! Strictest school I know. Very much overreact to everything. Most teachers are average, some are great, and some are god awful at explaining things slowly.
