GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Most teachers don't seem to care but when you find teachers that do they very much stand out.. The classrooms themselves honestly look like a prison and the food is very overpriced for the quality. The library is a good size and has a nice atmosphere to it. 2.5/5

The school claims to offer a college experience with the dual enrollment program there, but the high school classes do not prepare you for the classes you will be taking in the community college there and classes in the future. The academics in this school are terrible like anywhere else in Nevada because of how the teaching just does not prepare you for college.

Attending College of Southern Nevada is the best decision I've ever made. I've made serious progress regarding my education all while having fun with the people who not only study there, but those who work there. The teachers and administrators are incredibly caring and involved. It's a wonderful school.

I am a current student here. The easiest part of this program, believe it or not, is the college portion. You are treated exactly like a college student, with freedom and responsibility. The hardest part would be the high school classes. All students complain about how hard every assignment is becau...
