GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It was a decent school but could be better. Academics need some work and building is not up to date. Teachers could also be better and resources are not easily accessible. I think everything needs to be changed but should not be too long before it is a good school.

The best part of being at North Plainfield High School are the teachers and that most of the teachers are very good attentive and always help us with our homework or exams. Bad things that I would like to change. I don't have the whole summary of my High School Year. It's been very good

NPHS is a good overall experience. Like other schools, there can always be improvement for more student and parent involvement in activities. Best part of my experience is having an administration that cares and is there for the students. Worst part is lack of parking for both teachers and students.

If you aren't in an AP/Honors class, you're wasting your time. I'd even go as far as to say that AP classes provi...
