Lake Ridge Academy has been one of the best work experiences that I have ever had. Like every other school it has its rough spots, but the wonderful community of students, parents and teacher far outweigh anything negative. The amount of work and effort that the faculty, and administration are putting in to ensure that Lake Ridge is a home to students for a further 60 years is impressive. I am so excited and proud to call this place my work home now and into the future.

I have enjoyed my time at lake ridge academy and I feel relatively well prepared for college, however it is often a struggle to get administrators to listen and change

The best school we've seen in years. The social-emotional learning with younger children sets an excellent foundation for them to become caring young adults.

My son‘s first year year was OK but his second was not. He did not enjoy it, the teachers are good, some of them, but the upper administration I feel tends to favor those with money. Lake Ridge has been a breath of fresh air for my family. Our son is thriving here, socially, emotionally, and academically. Hearing him excited for school each day makes the mornings a much more enjoyable time of our day.

They know students as individuals and challenge them to develop increasing levels of responsibility so that students learn the importance of self-advocacy, time management, and good study habits.
