GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I graduated June of 2022 and I will say that I have an overall great experience. I was extremely involved with sports and the academics are really good

The education was pretty good. Students were able to reach out when needed and majority of faculty were very kind and welcoming. There were times where I'd feel rather "unheard" when reaching out. Going into high school my fellow classmates lingered into their own thing, making my majority of time in high school pretty easy going and steady. I believe for that its worth, the school is good for kids.

NS was a great school district to be a part of for the past 13 years. I loved how everyone knew each other and was so close. Despite our small size, we always had great sports teams. For the most part, I had great teachers. The only thing that was lacking was diversity.

My son had told other me the kids scream racial slurs and it had effected his learning because he is very easily distracted. He has also informed me the teachers screamed the slurs back at the student. My child is not in special education so I wouldn't know. My son has had some mental health issues...

It has been an awful experience and we are moving to a new district at the first possible opportunity. One child in our child’s class has already left for private school due to their negative experience with the school community. We may be next.

Least racist school ever. I don't know why everyone says there's a problem with racism. I'm a minority myself, and I've never had an issue with racism. Everyone here is unbelievably accepting and friendly. I've never encountered a racial slur or had anyone treat me any differently because of my skin...

Great school! We have lived in three different states and I have to say we love the small town feel and the one on one our children receive from their teachers.
