GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It was fun I made lots of different friends everyone was cool all the teachers that I've had were really nice and tried to help you as much as they could. The worst parts of the experience were probably the food and some of the electives.

Tuscaloosa County High has been my high school for four years, and as much as any high schooler wants to say they hated school I can't. This school has helped me learn, embrace different cultures, and meet new people. At least half the teachers here are good and care about what they are doing and all the admin does. The school has a lot of spirit and a large community behind it, I hope it continues to improve every year. Go Cats.

My experience was very well. I am an Ambassador at TCHS and I have enjoyed my school years. Just about every single teacher I've had here has been very constructive and is willing to help.

I have another daughter who is in band and they have an amazing band program. I have nothing but...

Most racially and socioeconomically divided school I have ever seen. I cannot believe that that segregation like this is allowed to continue. Sports are for bullies -- my child quit baseball because he would not participate in victimizing children in special education. The coach and principal said "...
