GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall good school. The teachers care about your progress. The counsellors will follow up if you get behind on assignments and your parents might get a call.

Overall, I have had a very positive experience at Coe-Brown. I feel as though I have had the opportunity to make very impactful relationships with my teachers that I will carry into my future. I have also had the experience to take high level classes that have challenged me and will prepare me for college. However, the one thing I would change is the ability to have a less regimented class schedule as an underclassmen in terms of required courses.

I have enjoyed my time at Coe-Brown Northwood Academy. They offer a variety of courses, clubs, sports, and other various activities. The food is exceptional and the lunches are always a delight. Most of the teachers are very experienced and are interested in the lives of their students both in and outside of school. the largest problem that the school faces is that the administration can be a bit strict, but it is normally within reason.

CBA is a wonderful high school and offers excellent opportunities for academic achievement. It also has a community college feel to it’s campus, which is good training for our future college students.
