Baytech has given me an experience I though I never could have when I first went there in 8th grade I thought thing would be bad at a charter school, but not only are the students an parents amazing people but the teachers are definitely the best teachers I have ever had within a learning environment where each student can get individual learn and grown and learn to his of her own pace baytech has been a truly wondered experience

I really like how they continually encourage the students to be college-ready. They track the students' academic progress and provide support when needed.

So it's not a bad school like honestly. If people have bad experiences it's because of like social type of things (friends, rumors, gossip, etc) but that can be avoided. Other than that, it's a nice school. The small environment really deadass let's you connect with the staff and that's the best thing really.

I'm not sure where this parent get's his/her information, but BayTech has two social studies/history teachers on staff. Bay Area Technology School is the best school in town and highly recommended!!! From 6th grade until now 12th grade, my son and I are very satisfied for what they offer like free after school program which is awesome! Tutoring even it's late or over the weekend. Bay Area Technology school is the best community school in Oakland. It offers quality education in a caring, family like environment. The class sizes are small so teachers are able to cater for the needs of the individual students. I love this school and therefore have enrolled my younger child now...
