The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

There's often a lot of fights that occur on school grounds. I even got hit in crossfire during a fight on a bus ride home. The food could also most definitely be better. I've had multiple spoiled or distasteful milks. Other than that the teachers I've had are amazing. The sports are fun and well organized.

My experience at northwest classen high school was great, i passed all my classes with good grades. Meaning the teachers really put in the work so the students can be successful. The best parts are the school games like soccer, its really fun when the students go and support their school team, i didn't have a bad experience at school. Some things i would like to see change would be the building itself, painting it with more brighter colors and redesigning it.

I entered Northwest Classen for my senior year so I'm a transfer student so there was a change of scenery for me since I came from a private school. Overall all the faculty has been very welcoming and accommodating especially with so many students they still manage to connect with the students. The senior class has also been very welcoming and engaging everyone with senior activities. One thing that could change is how unprepared some schedules were during the first week of school.
