My overall experience as an African-American female, at a predominantly white high school was fine. Not many people my race there but I eventually ended up finding a great friend group. I took a lot of honors and AP courses which were fun. All of my teachers were helpful and understanding. I didn't like the lack of inclusion within the school.

The best part about my high school is going to the assemblies and performances. The worst part has to be about how we only have 2 officers on campus with over a thousand students. I would like them to change security due to events that have happened and that they have more school activities.

My experiences attending Putnam City North High School is not the best experience but I tend to do my own thing. I have a rather small group of friends that I talk to but other than that I do not care to associate with my other peers simply because they are not my type of people. Many students at this school has poor work ethic and does not care to be in school. I am the complete opposite and care deeply about school and getting a great education. My aspirations and goals in life are quite big and differs tremendously as to others at my school.
