GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have honestly had a few good years at this school and I've always enjoyed all of the activities and clubs we have supported and hosted. However, I do think it could be a bit more inclusive and diverse. I think we have a safe environment and a great learning environment. Our academics are great and I can't say I've had a bad experience with any faculty members. I feel as though it is easy to find a place at this school. The administration has been harder to work with and I would like to see more communication between the students and admin.

Olathe Northwest has been a decent school. There are a lot of clubs and organizations to get involved in. However, I feel like there is a lot of wasted time and lack of teaching. We spent a lot of time just sitting here and a lot of busywork assignments. Teachers also tend to teach just to memorize for the test, not to retain knowledge.

Olathe Northwest has been such a positive experience in my life. My favorite part of my experience has been my involvement in sports. I play basketball and I also try to attend as many football, soccer and volleyball games as possible. It really gives us a sense of community and school spirit. ONW provides such a supportive group of administrators and truly prepared us for our next steps in the future. I honestly cannot think of any bad experiences that I desire to see a change in.

This school and school district are severely failing the students. If the school was a for profit business a decent number of teachers and staff would be fired for not doing their job.

Not a great school. All of the privileged kids are stuck up and judgmental. I would strongly advise against sending your kid to this school at all. There is also little to no diversity in all the classes

I have to say this is the best school ever! Obviously I'm biased since I am currently a student there but still. There are so many ways to get involved, anyone can find their niche at ONW. They have a wide variety of clubs where anyone can find something they love. Other than a stereotype for being...

I have two sons who have attended ONW in the E-Comm program. This school is wonderful. The students are enthusiastic learners, and the teachers seem to really enjoy their jobs. My students enjoy going to school, are challenged, and comfortable at ONW. I also feel that it is a safe school, without ev...
