GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Millard west is where I met my closest friends. I was involved with the marching and concert band throughout all four years of high school. The teachers for both band and every other class influenced me heavily and I learned many things in academics but also in life skills.

During my time in high school, I was involved in Bowling, clubs, honors classes, and music. Millard West offered everything I wanted to do and the staff were very accommodating. I enjoyed how my teachers taught the class, it was usually always fun to learn. I wish that the lunch options were more appetizing but they're not bad.

Millard West is not the best by any means but it is also not bad either. The average student has enough resources to get what they need. They just have an attendance problem and the teachers constantly complain about their jobs. They just changed the schedule and nobody likes it and many of the teachers make that very known. The student section at games is good and the average day to day is fine. Its not bad enough to consider transferring but I am also not exactly looking forward to being here.

Please do not go here. If you are in any way different from anyone you will get bullied badly. The school lets it happen and doesn't take account of the student's behavior and only lets them off with "a warning" which never works and they continue to do it. If you keep telling the administration the...

My experience at Millard West has been awful. I have been bullied since august. I'm only a freshman as well. I have to contact the principal once or more a week about a kid/kids who bully me. Most of the school are a bunch of rich kids who don't work for anything and pick on you for however you act,...
