GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I am currently a senior at this high school. I started High School in 2021, and I learned a lot since my freshman year to now. I enjoy everything about the school including playing the sports and making friends.

I would say the best parts of my days in school are playing sports because I'm having fun and enjoy it with friends and it feels good to win medals, and some worst days are having to take test and doing your best and still end up failing

I have had a good experience here at Northwest. The best parts of my experience would be the diversity and the teachers/staff. I feel like the teachers do a good job on helping students when needed. I can same the same about the counselors. Especially once you're in your senior year they help you get ready for college and help you start applying to colleges and scholarships. The worst part of my experience would be the fights between students. Students should have no need to fight in school. They came to school to learn and get an education.

It could be better, but the good parts make the bad bearable.

A hidden gem! We moved our child from a private school to attend NWHS in 2014. We have found this school to be amazing! It is led by a great principal, Mr. Lee, and equally great teachers. The student body is accepting and our child has always felt safe. There are Honors and AP courses available, as...

I graduated from Northwest in 2012. I am currently at UNO. I fell that OPS has done such a horrible job at educating their students. When I got to UNO I felt as if I was unprepared. If you're going to send your child to any of these schools make sure that they're enrolled in AP or Honors courses. Th...
