GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Teachers help with success and counseling necessary for grades and career path achievement. Administrators are great at keeping parents updated with information via phone, zoom and website. Diversity is great but it's unfortunate that many elite students that should go here are in private schools on scholarships. The academics could be better.

The best part of Ooltewah is the JROTC program. The instructors help you in every aspect of life and JROTC gives you a non-blood family. A few of my other teachers have helped me but a lot of my education has come from JROTC. They have given me skills that wasn't just for standard classes.

Honestly this school might not be the best in the world, but its not nearly as bad as it’s made out to be. All that is needed to do good at this school is apply yourself. The teachers do a great job, and I have been able to maintain a Grade average of 98.9 and get A’s on finals in APs. All you have...

Nothing positive has ever came out of this school for us. This school is constantly in the news for lacking regard for the students welfare and they continue to show that on a daily basis. Very few students and staff care at this school. It just sucks the good ones into a deep dark black hole. It is...

Worst school I’ve ever had my kids in. Worst school I’ve personally seen.
