GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I graduated a year after COVID ended so things might have changed: This school was WAY too easy. It did not challenge me academically only my attention span as each class was filled with pretty much only busy work. The English and Science teachers rarely ACTUAllY teach they use a program called AMPLIFY. This is forced I believe through the school district. I got food poisoning from the lunches DON'T get them. There are no languages offered so my high school periods are still being taken up by language requirements. There are no honors-level classes except 1 class in math. There were not many electives for non-artsy kids. The sports teams were good. When I was there there was a LOT of racism and sexism not towards me but to others. There was also a massive political divide. This school is pretty good if you are a sporty person who is not too concerned about academics. If you want to be an all 6 AP/IB classes kid in high school this school is not for you.

I love the Media program at Carnegie. The 8th grade science department at ACMS is not very good no matter what teacher you get.

I am beyond frustrated with this school. No one cares that my son is being bullied.

Beyond pleased with this school. Every interaction with teachers and administration is wonderful. We transferred from another school in the San Juan District and there is a noticeable improvement in our child's work and grades, including classroom and state testing. Very pleased with this school.
