GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Dr Phillips highschool has been not as expected I came to the school thinking it was high a outstanding school while the teaching strategy for most teachers wasn't understanding to the student although I can say that lil percentage of teacher did amazing at teaching the material.

We have two amazingmagent programs one beigforthe art and the other international studies which have won many awards ( i am currently in the visual and performing arts magnet and take their center for international studies classes) , i personally think there is a place for any and everyone on campus regardless background or even language barriers everyone has a place whether it's in the clubs or the classes that you take.

Overall, I had a great experience with Dr. Phillips. Being in the Visual Performing Arts magnet program I had a lot of fun performances, classes, and opportunities. Some of the best times I had during school were through the recitals we had every month and the concerts we performed. The magnet prepared me very well for my future college classes and helped me a lot with education. I don't think I really had horrible experiences at Dr. Phillips but if I wanted to change anything it would be the facilities. The bathrooms were often not kept up very well with a lot of them missing dispensers, sinks, and other broken items. They were also not stocked and cleaned consistently which was difficult to deal with. This would be one of the things I would like to see changed at the school.

Horrible. I pulled my oldest out during covid when she didn’t have a chemistry teacher for 3 weeks. Now it’s pretty normal for them to not have teachers for classes. Kids have had several geometry teachers in 1 yr, no teacher yet for Spanish or French. The new principal has a lot of work ahead of he...

These reviews seems skewed as most of them are old, written by students, or written by someone who had a bad experience. My child goes to DPHS, and I can't speak for the normal class experience as my child is in the Autism Exceptional Student Education program. So far we've had nothing but positive...

My girls took their SAT, PSAT, ACT, and AP tests there. They could hear the roller coaster noise/screams from Universal. At the time, they wished they were having fun at Universal instead of taking important tests.
