Located just off West Colonial Drive at 4903 Donovan Street in Orlando’s Rosemont area, Rolling Hills Elementary is a Title 1 school serving kindergarten through fifth grades. In addition to its standard education programs, the school also welcomes students with varying exceptionalities, providing individualized education. A parent support program allows parents to be involved in the educational process and submit tickets via the school's website in case of any questions or concerns. Rolling Hills’ motto, "Every student matters and every moment counts!” is upheld by the school’s commitment to help students achieve academically, as well as develop social, emotional, physical and intellectual skills. Welcoming community involvement, the school offers opportunities for parents to volunteer through its ADDitions program. An accelerated reader program and an online e-book catalog on various topics, from educational to entertainment, are available to all students through the Destiny Discover catalog. As members of the "Character Lab," educators and administrators have additional resources to pair students with researchers with shared interests. This pairing allows them to design research activities to understand their students better.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
