GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It is a very academically powerful school, with excellent staff and extra-curricular options. However it does lack in clean facilities, and also healthy school food.

The best part of my high school years has been the friendships I've made. Our school has a great courtyard and all the students can hang out there and spend quality time together. The worst part is probably the number of students that go to the school. Having so many students can feel overwhelming.

Timber Creek has a lot of clubs and programs. They pick and choose who to give funding too and how much, some programs get more than others. Good academics and diversity.

The kids even know that this isn’t fair but nothing is done about it! It is not fair and every kid s...

There are skilled teachers and teachers lacking skills. Engaging teachers and boring teachers. TCHS works to hire teachers in a timely way when needed but it doesn't always happen. OCPS is a big district and there is lots of red tape to work around so nothing happens fast. We enjoyed clubs and sport...
